Hobby is another word for ‘passion’, something some person pursues with a combination of mind, heart and soul. It may or may not earn any materialistic gain or laurels, as other jobs. And this fact brings with it the criticism for hobbies. Critics suggest not to waste time on things other than those, from which one earn something fruitful. But one thing it definitely brings is ultimate satisfaction. Is this satisfaction for which each and every person longs for in life?
Why to forget M.F.Hussian, Sachin Tendulakar , Saina or the great Amitabh Bachchan or even Rajnikant. What would they have been doing if not in their current profession, which are their hobbies too? The question arises, would they have been this much successful as they are now? To be more precise, happier than they are now. Hobbies can always be directed to be a profession.
Hobbies are the activities, which a person likes to be active in, in order to give pleasure to his mind, follow the heart and involves the soul .These are the best traits and energies of an individual. Each and every person has some positive and negative traits. Why not give a right direction to the positive energies, before they either get surpassed or start moving in not so right direction. Increasing the strengths and weakening the weaknesses should be the motto, to ride on the path of success.
Any activity done with sincerity is never an act of waste, but an effort to shape up the learning curve in life. Learning’s about the level of tolerance, optimism, passion, persistence, and above all the satisfaction and happiness of ownself.
